"Sometimes in the shadows of one's self lie the problems, and in the shadows of one's shaping, lie the answers." Ravi Zacharias, from "Walking from East to West"

I found this quote and wanted to post it because after reading it, it has been etched in my psyche and I have really been thinking about it lately. I love reading Ravi's works, and this book is his memoirs about growing up in India, his move to the West, and his conversion to Christianity and his call to ministry.

I love this season, because baseball is in the air and there is never a dull game on. College baseball, Major League Baseball, and even Baseball Tonight on ESPN. Thank you Lord for creating baseball.

i hope everyone had a happy easter. i know this post is short, but tonight, i am more contemplative. i have had a question asked of me lately that is really bugging me, and it pertains to relationships. i am tired of everyone (mostly older folks for the past few days) asking me when i am going to get a girlfriend. i really can't stand that. being 25, i really want to find the lady that god has for me, but he hasn't allowed her to cross my path yet, or has he? i am not really sure. i have a friend that once told me, when we were in high school, that if i wasn't married by the time i was 50, she would marry me. well, 24 1/2 more years adn i will hold her to it. oh well. goodnight y'all.

Smoltzy is pitching tonight for the Braves. Can they make it two wins in a row? The world shall see soon.
